Quick Start¶
Welcome to PhonoLex! This guide will help you get started with the tool.
Accessing PhonoLex¶
Visit phonolex.com to use PhonoLex in your browser. No installation or signup required!
The fastest way to start is from the landing page: pick a target tile (a speech-sound target or contrast) and PhonoLex seeds an editable therapy pack in the Materials Editor for you. See the Therapy Packs guide. The steps below walk the individual tools directly.

- Click Build Word List to see results
- Export to CSV or copy individual words
Your First Sentence Retrieval¶
- Open Sentences
- Add a phoneme rule (e.g. STARTS_WITH /k/) and/or a contrastive constraint (e.g. minimal pair b/d at initial position)
- Optionally add psycholinguistic-norm bounds (e.g. a Word Frequency percentile bound)
- Hit retrieve — top sentences come back with per-word highlight overlay showing which words earned the slot
- Click any highlighted word to open its profile
